Blue-White announces the TFD (tube failure detection) system. This is a breakthrough technology for
chemical feed pumps.
The TFD system will detect a wide range of chemicals (i.e. chlorine, acids, soaps, etc.). This unique
technology was designed to ignore pump friendly fluids; such as water and lubricants.
Blue-White is the only peristaltic pump manufacturer to add this safety feature to its pumps.

How does it work?
If a chemical is detected in the pumphead, the pump will
automatically shut off and energize a relay, permitting communications with external equipment, such as an alarm or a SCADA system. The chemical must be
cleaned from the pump head and the tubing should be replaced before the pump will start again.
How much will it cost me?
The TFD system will come standard on our most popular pump models.
No extra cost to you.*
What if I'm not interested?
The TFD system can be easily deactivated at any time.
What pumps will have this feature?
The first pump to ship with this feature will be our new A-100NV variable speed peristaltic (tube
) pump. In the near future, you can expect all variations of our A-100N peristaltic pumps to ship with this feature.
Where are the TFD sensors located on the pump?
The sensors are located within the pumphead.
What other peristaltic pump manufactures offer this feature?
