APPLICATION
CWT SL557 is used in steam condensate systems to inhibit carbon dioxide corrosion. It may be applied in conjunction with other chemicals directly to the boiler, boiler feed
line, or condensate receiver. It is the product of choice for large industrial systems with multiple pressure reducing stations. CWT SL557 may be USDA authorized for
use in treated boiler feedwater where the steam produced is allowed to contact edible products.

Dosage & Feeding
CWT SL557 is dependent on specific operational parameters and carbon dioxide content of the steam. It may be fed continuously from shipping contain, neat, or in dilute
solutions to maintain a slightly alkaline pH in the condensate.
Handling & Precautions
CWT SL557 is alkaline formulation. Do not take internally. Not for potable water. Avoid contact with skin. Avoid breathing vapors. If skin and eyes
are affected, flush with plenty of fresh water and obtain medical attention. Store in a cool, dry location. Does not deteriorate with age. Keep container closed
when not in use. Suggested in-plant storage limit of one year. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet for additional safe handling information.
