Multi-Function Level Solution
Flowline introduces EchoPod, an innovative level sensor that replaces floats, conductance and pressure
sensors that fail due to dirty, sticking and scaling media in a small tanks 49.2" (1.25m) or less. EchoPod, a general purpose sensor, combines non-contact
switch, controller and transmitter capabilities in one multi-function sensor. Combining 4 relays, 4-20 mA output and pump/valve control in one small sensor allows
EchoPod to be your total solution. Maintenance free, EchoPod reduces tank system hardware through simplicity and consolidation. Additionally, EchoPod is well
suited for corrosive and dirty applications with its non-metallic housing and transducer. EchoPod provides a total solution for fluid handling and automation. The
time to "Think Small and Win Big" is now, and it's with EchoPod.

- High level alarm (1-4)
- Low level alarm (1-4)
- Any combination of high and/or low alarms
Contact sensors are susceptible to coating and scaling liquids, resulting in sticking / malfunction that
requires frequent maintenance or replacement. EchoPod provides a non-contact solution for the retrofit of float trees and conductivity probes. Combining 4 built in
SPST relays, EchoPod delivers a reliable, durable and dependable replacement. EchoPod's selectable hysteresis eliminates relay chatter from turbulent media, a
feature contact sensors can't provide. Additionally, non-contact sensors are immune to the performance issues influenced by changes in a media's specific
gravity. EchoPod's non-contact ultrasonic switch performance is level made simple.

Transmitter

- Adjustable 4-20 mA output
- Reversible output
- Interface directly to local display and / or to PLC, SCADA,
DCS systems
- Remote displays / controllers can increase relay functionality
Contact transmitters initially deliver low-costs for OEM specification, but are susceptible to high
failure or replacement costs from contact with the application media. EchoPod provides a non-contact replacement of pressure, capacitance and float sensors that
require maintenance or replacement from the sticking, scaling or corrosive media. EchoPod enables greater measurement accuracy (0.125"), resolution
(0.019") and repeatability ensuring overall system performance reliability. EchoPod is level measurement made simple.

Controller

- Auto fill / empty
- Can control 2 pumps / valves
- Lead / lag
- Duplex
- Unused relays may be used as additional alarms
Contact sensors for control have traditionally been difficult to set up, and
don't provide long term maintenance free operation. Conductance and floats are challenged by the lack of programmable level intelligence inherent by design and
failure due to contact with the liquid media. EchoPod's user friendly configuration software, WebCal, provides un-matched accuracy and programming for control
applications. Multi-function relay control, coupled with 4-20 mA output generates amazing control capabilities. Designed out cost through advanced signal
processing techniques, EchoPod delivers the next generation of digital processing for control. EchoPod is level control made simple.

WebCal Software
WebCal brings in a new era of configuration for level sensors. WebCal's new user
inter-face allows you for the first time to take complete visual control of your set-up and configuration. Using simple pre-programmed menus and visual
representations of your configuration, the confusion of target calibration (a wall and measuring tape) are gone. Once you have completed your configuration design,
simply click "Write to Unit" and EchoPod is configured. WebCal boast an array of file management features that make saving, emailing and printing your
configuration easy for back-up or troubleshooting. Furthermore, this allows for multiple EchoPod's to be configured with just a click of the button, without
going through the complete configuration again. Additionally, WebCal provides a viewable and printable PDF wiring diagram of your configuration to simplify and
ensure proper field installation.
WebCal is your complete solution for EchoPod configuration. Flowline invites you to download the
software for free and experience what configuration should be.

Technical Specifications
Enclosure: While the transmitter housing is liquid resistant, EchoPod should never be immersed in liquid. It should be mounted so that media doesn't contact the transducer.
Power Supply: A standard 24 VDC supply is required to power EchoPod. The supply should never exceed 24 VDC.
Material Capatibility: The EchoPod enclosure is made of flame retardant Polycarbonate (PC/ABS FR). The transducer (black bottom) is made of Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) for maximum corrosion resistance.
