Once corrosion coupons have been exposed in your system for the determined period of time, send them back to Metal Samples
where a complete corrosion analysis of the weight loss will determine the mils per year (MPY) corrosion rate. Optionally a Pit Depth Analysis can be performed.
Our corrosion coupon rack can be ordered in a variety of materials to include PVC, CPVC, Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel. You can also modify your
corrosion monitoring system with a flow indicator for visual inspection of the corrosion rack. A flow control valve can be installed in a corrosion coupon rack to regulate the
water flow providing a consistent corrosion study. Most corrosion monitoring systems are installed on cooling tower circulation loops to help monitor the effectiveness
of a the corrosion inhibitor chemicals being used. After the corrosion test sample has been exposed for the desired length of time the corrosion test sample is sent to a lab
for analysis.
