FAQ's

Q.

How do I span the 4-20 mA signal?

A.

The 20 mA set point is entered as a frequency, using four  rotary switches. A simple calculation determines the frequency. The unit is  microcontroller-based, and it digitally adjusts itself when the 20 mA frequency  is entered.

Q.

How do I power the flow sensor?

A.

The flow sensor gets its power from the AO55, which gets its  power from the 4-20 mA signal itself. Both the flow sensor and the AO55  transmitter can operate on the 4 mA minimum current.

Q.

What does "loop powered" mean? What does "two-wire 4-20  mA mean?"

A.

They basically mean the same thing. See the answer above.
